Regency Tower is a 19-story oceanfront condominium at 3850 Galt Ocean Drive on Fort Lauderdale's Galt Ocean Mile, completed in 1969-70 and comprising 203 residences. It was developed by Coral Ridge Properties, the Westinghouse Electric subsidiary led by J.P. Taravella that shaped much of the Galt Mile oceanfront, and designed by Fort Lauderdale architect Richard C. Reilly. The building has since completed its Broward County-mandated recertification, including concrete restoration, elevator modernization, and roof replacement. Residents have access to a heated oceanfront pool, a fitness center, a game room and billiards room, a car-washing area, deeded beach access with beach chairs and umbrellas provided, storage lockers, and 24-hour security with covered garage parking. The Galt Ocean Mile location places the building within walking distance of grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and medical offices, along Fort Lauderdale's beachfront corridor between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean.
